Virginia attended beauty school in Italy and graduated in 1985. She owned a salon with her mother until 1998 when she moved to the United States. She then began working at Heidi’s Salon in Schaumburg, specializing in cutting, perming, relaxing and formal styling. She partnered with Toni in 2002 to open Arte Salon where they could share their passion and create a knowledgeable, professional staff. Virginia continues as a stylist at Arte and is able to pass along her creative skills to new employees and allow the salon to flourish and grow. She attends classes and shows and hosts training in salon to keep up with the most current of beauty trends.

Toni graduated from Ippolito’s Beauty School in 1994. In 1995 she joined the team at Heidi’s salon where she started off as an assistant and trained as a stylist. Her training included techniques of Vidal Sassoon and she was able to demonstrate these techniques to students of various beauty schools. Toni was featured on the Jenny Jones show for a make-over episode in which she was the stylist. In 2002 she embarked on a new journey with friend and coworker Virginia by opening Arte Salon. Together they created a salon where their talents could shine. Toni continues her education by attending classes and trade shows, such as the Midwest Beauty Show, where the newest trends are displayed and taught. Additionally Toni’s expertise allows her to educate and train new stylists to become proficient in cutting and styling techniques.

Tina was placed on this earth to do what she does best, color! She has been in the industry for over 15 years and is just as excited today as she was her first day behind the chair. We welcome her to Arte, where she is reunited with her former Heidi's coworkers. She feels blessed to be in an industry that focuses on the spirit as well as the physical body. Tina has a passion for creating love of one's hair as well as love of one's soul!

Sarah is a graduate of Pivot Point Academy for Cosmetology. During her schooling she began working for Heidi’s Salon in Woodfield Mall. She continued her career at Aqua Salon in Schaumburg where she continued to build her loyal clientele. Sarah has been certified in extension application and is currently our So.Cap specialist.

Sandy attended the College of Beauty in Hanover Park where she graduated in 1999. She began as a colorist at Mario Tricoci's in Bloomingdale. She continued her education and training within Tricoci atmosphere. She has experience in color lines such as Wella. Sandy has also appeared on the Jenny Jones show assisting in make-overs.

Sam attended Tricoci University of Beauty Culture in 2007. Since graduating she has built her career behind the chair as both colorist and stylist. She is proficient in color, precision haircuts and style. Her continued education includes extensive training by Wella, Pureology, Redken, Grund and Sebastian and is evident in her work.

Pearl Russell graduated from Arlington Academy in 1989. She started her career at Heidi’s Salon where she honed her colorist skills by extensively training with top colorists and experts. Eventually her experience allowed her to educate new students in color application and formulation. She has participated in many fashion shows and displayed her creative color techniques at the Midwest Beauty Show. Her broad knowledge of color brands such as Framesi, Logics, Redken, Joico, Clairol, and of course, Schwarzkopf makes her an irreplaceable asset at Arte Salon.

In 1990 Nicole graduated from Hair Professionals. Shortly thereafter she began working as an assistant at Heidi’s. Throughout this time Nicole continued to train and started working as a stylist. In 1995 she was promoted to educator and taught students the basics of hair cutting and styling. In 1999 in addition to styling and teaching she assumed the duty of managing salon assistants. During this time she also attended many classes, including razor cutting and styling by Bumble & Bumble in New York. In 2002 she joined the team at Arte Salon, Nicole is proficient at razor cutting, perms, relaxers, and styling.

Nadia graduated Pivot Point academy in 2001. Throughout her seven years of styling history she has worked at Heidi’s and Aqua Salon in Schaumburg. Nadia is proficient in styling wigs and extensions and offers educational tips on proper maintenance and wearing. She attends many classes including Bumble & Bumble, Privé, and PureOlogy where she keeps her skills updated to offer the newest and trendiest styles of every season!

Lauren is a tenured colorist having graduated from Davea Academy for Cosmetology in 2000. Her precision approach to coloring is attributed to her extensive training while previously working at Heidi’s salon. Lauren’s passion for detail combined with her experience with Schwarzkopf color is what makes her an expert colorist. She has been on the Arte team since 2003 and her specialties are highlighting and lowlighting.
